SAVE YOUR SKIN THIS WINTER

Temperatures will soon drop, which means our skin will take a turn and become dry and in some cases flaky. We switch our wardrobe to keep us warm and cozy, we need to switch up your skincare routine to protect your skin, by taking these little precautions.

MOSTURIZE - MOISTURIZE

Make moisturizing priority number one

The cold weather, low humidity, and indoor heat, dehydrates your skin and leaves it begging for hydration.

Our Supreme Cream helps you keep your cells renewing while protecting your skin from the elements.

Our Optimal Repair Cream battles the elements while keeping your skin healthy, moist and soft. It also helps repair any possible skin damage while fighting the aging process.

LOCK AWAY YOUR TONER

Toners tend to dry out your skin, adding to any dryness in the air or potential dehydration if you live in inclement cold weather.

CHECK YOUR INGREDIENTS

You should always avoid alcohol on your skin, as is drying an damaging to the dermis, during Fall and Winter, you should eliminate it completely from your skin care routine. Steer clear of fragrances which can cause skin allergies and sensitivity.

Remember, avoid toxic ingredients that damage your skin and ultimately can harm your health.

CLEAN YOUR SKIN WISELY

Exfoliating in the winter is tricky. In winter, exfoliate gently, using a mild cleanser which helps eliminate dead cells, but prevent any aggressive products as they will irritate and damage your skin further, if you are dehydrated. Exfoliate only once a week, the rest clean with a deep hydrating cleanser.

-Our Honey Gem Scrub, mildly but effectively exfoliate dead cells and clear your pores from dust and dirt, without dehydrating your skin.

-Our Gera-Rose is a fantastic foaming cleanser for those with oily and complicated skin.

AVOID HOT LONG SHOWERS

Try short warm showers instead of long hot showers. If your skin is dry, hot showers will make dryer and like sandpaper. to the touch. “There’s a paradox that if you take an overly long bath or shower, you get a net evaporation effect of water from the skin because it pulls some of the water molecules out,” says Dr. David Bank. Stick to a 10-15 minute shower and pat dry with a towel, leaving a little water on your skin. Then immediately apply a deep moisturizer to lock in the hydration, as well as a product that helps protect the skin barrier that retains moisture on your skin.

-Our Advanced Texturizing Butter, superbly hydrates and retains moisture for hours.
